This summer in Australia has been like no other we’ve ever seen. There have been disasters, heartbreak and more loss than we want to think about.
Whilst there are still fires being fought and discussions on whether climate change is real or not, and who’s to blame, we’re now moving into recovery mode.
We’re rebuilding, fixing, assessing, helping, planning and hoping that the worst is over.
It will be a big job, but we will rebuild and we will recover.
If you’ve suffered financial loss or hardship, or you’re just not where you want to be financially, now is a good time to start to rebuild your finances too.
Start by figuring out exactly where you are – how much do you owe, and how much do you have. Once you have a clear picture of your current position, you can think about what you want to have by a certain date. Come up with your goals, timeframes and milestones and then start putting things into place to make it happen.
If you need to earn more money, figure out how to do it. If you need better returns from your investments, talk to us about your options. If you need better financial management and strategies to get rid of bad debt, we can help you there too.
Make 2020 the year of recovery – for the country and your finances. Create a plan and take action.
We’re here to help and support you in any way we can.
If you’ve been affected by the fires and are experiencing financial hardships, please talk to your bank and see if they can assist you.
Good luck. Let’s make this happen.
